Love Reaches/Word-Filled Wednesday

>> Wednesday, March 3, 2010

Welcome to Word-Filled Wednesday, hosted by Penny Raine. Go by her blog to worship visually with other great blogs.

It's been a couple of weeks in Funkytown for me lately, meaning I've been in a bit of a "funk." Little bit of depression here...little bit of frustration there. All of the 'Mama of the Year' trucks hit the brakes in front of my house and spun their wheels in reverse.

On and on I could go...bleck.

These are the times, as I seek Him through the muck, He proves Himself loving and faithful--Unconditionally, patiently, passionately and relentlessly so. I'm grateful that when I am weak, He is strong.

Thank You, Lord, for never being out of reach, for loving me more than I could ever fathom.
Only a God like You could love so perfectly.

Oh, boy! Can I ever relate! Funkytown is a great description for where I have been lately, as well. It's during these times that I find peace in knowing His mercies are new every morning and He is a kind God to save a wretch like me. :o)

Blessings to you...

I'm singing.....
"your faithfulness, stretches to the skyyyyyy....your righteousness, is like a mighty mountain...yeah.....
(you had me at the verse that just puts Mac Powell's voice in my head!)

You know I "get it!" Funkytown seems to be where quite a few of us are hanging out...He is strong. we are weak. we need Him. He remains the same.

Thank you dear for lifting me up word and song! Love you!

I hear you; so glad for a Jesus who lives with us in our times of funk.

Love the new header by the way; can't get the speaking tab to work.

I love that by the time our little brain gets around to looking up, His arms are outstretched to hold us.

Blessings my sweet sister LauraLee...

Thanking the LORD ELOHIM for His unfailing love that reaches to the heavens! this gorgeous, the color makes it very "funky". So that's the new word for depression, huh? Look at how many are in funkytown with ya'...

And here we thought we were the only depressed ones. And frustration, don't get me started.

Anyways, thanks for sharing you heart so we can join and support each other. Look at how many names I have to add to my prayer journal.

It is also your words that are inspiring but I'm telling Peter that you took his blog title.
I too must confess that in my weakness constantly, He is strong!
So glad that greater is He who is in us, then he that is of this world. We are overcomers, girl.
The victories been won. Let's get this together...much prayer going up as I battle with you.

Love, hugs, peace and comfort as you are strengthened,

Susan March 3, 2010 at 6:01 PM

Great word Laura Lee...

Praise God He is always there, reaching out to us, no matter what.

Hope you feel His love tonight.

Oh Laura, the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning, great is His faithfulness.

Thank God for Jesus and His Holy Spirit! I pray for your strength.
